Theme

Are you ready to translate the fun into rocking the vote?

My Vote Our Future’s 2012 Video Contest’s big theme is GET OUT THE VOTE. Why is voting important? What motivates you to vote? What do you feel is at stake this November for you personally and this country?

 

Judging Criteria

First round submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges and forwarded to the second round of expert judges who are well-known for their contributions in film, video, political activity, and civic engagement.

Both popular vote (40%) and the panel of expert judges (60%) determined the winners based on how effectively they address the criteria in the rules.

Video Contest Guidelines

Evaluation Criteria: Videos will be judged by the following criteria:

  1. Overall Impact (educational, inspiring, persuasive)
  2. Creativity and Originality
  3. Memorable Content and Delivery
  4. Clear Message about the importance of voting
  5. Alignment with My Vote, Our Future mission, able to connect with youth voters (18-30)

Winners will have their work publicized all through November 6, 2012 with our partners. All winners will get marketing exposure.
